anRensselaer. He was also known as Ephraim, Everhardt an
d well as Eberhardt. He was a Loyalist during the Revoluti
onary War and sered in Burgoynes's Army. he was statione
d at Fort St. Johns, Quebec in 1781 and was invalide at Yam
achiniche, Quebec 1781-1784. He was removed to Cataaraqu
i (now Kingston) on May 31, 1784 and settled in South Fredr
icksburg. His two sons William Everhardt and Thomas serve
d with him in the British Army and also Jacob Weager, who w
as the son of his first cousin who's name was also Eberhar
dt. These men were all awarded land in South Fredricksburg
h but Jacob soon afterward disposed of his land and settle
d near Williamsburg (about 85 miles east of Kingston). H
e did petition for land at Matilda on August 22, 1789.
