George was born in 1828. George's father was John M Picton and his mother was Ann Filby. He was an only child. He died at the age of 40 on July 18th, 1868 in Pillgwenlly, Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales.
George and Eleanor were married in a religious ceremony on November 10th, 1851 in Newport, , Monmouthshire, Wales. They had a son named William.
