Archibald Napier 
Archibald was born in 1449 in Merchistoun, Mid, Lothian, Scotland.1 Archibald's father was John Napier and his mother was Elizabeth Menteith. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Napier and Elizabeth Lauder; his maternal grandparents were Murdoch Menteith and Christian Murray. He was an only child. He died at the age of 80 on May 8th, 1529 in Merchiston, Mid, Lothian, Scotland.1 -
