John De's father was John De Mohun and his mother is Auda De Tibetot.  His paternal grandfather was John De Mohun and his paternal grandmother is Eleanor Fitz Piers; his maternal grandparents are Payne De Tibetot and Agnes De Ros.  He was an only child.  He died in 1324.
