John Melville 
John was born in 1505 in Raith, , Fife, Scotland. John's father was John Melville and his mother was Jane Pomeroy. His paternal grandfather was William Melville and his paternal grandmother is Euphemia Lundie; his maternal grandfather was William Bonar and his maternal grandmother is Jane Emma Gaulton. He had a half-brother named John. He died at the age of 43 on December 13th, 1548.-
