Edward was born about 1280 in Dunottar, Kincardineshire, Scotland. Edward's father was William Keith and his mother is Barbara Seton. His paternal grandfather was John De Keith and his paternal grandmother is Margaret Comyn; his maternal grandfather was Adam De Seton and his maternal grandmother is Jane Gifford. He had three brothers and a sister, named Robert, Richard, Philip and Miss. He was the youngest of the five children. He died on October 17th, 1346 in Battle Of Neville's Cross, England.General Notes
