Adaltrude was born in 0766 in France.  Adaltrude's father was Charlemagne Unknown and her mother is Gerswinda Unknown.  Her paternal grandfather was Pepin III "The Short" Franks and her paternal grandmother is Leuthergis Unknown. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Louie I "The Pious" and Bertha.  She died at the age of 86 in 0852.
