James Todd

James was born in 1857.¹   James' father was William Todd and his mother was Sarah Jane Turner.  His paternal grandfather was John Todd; his maternal grandparents are Robert Turner and Sophie Woodson Dale. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Erasmus Ras, Robert A, Frank, Samuel W, Edward, Artimesa, Martha A, Mary Elizabeth and Samantha J.  He is the fifth youngest of the ten children. He had seven half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Robert S, James P, John, William, Robert, George, Robert, Mary E, Ann P, Sarah C, Emily J, Elizabeth, Mary and Ann.
