Robert was born in 1710 in Surry Co, VA.1 Robert's father was Christopher Rowland and his mother was Ann White. His paternal grandparents were William Rowland and Ann Spencer; his maternal grandparents were Charles White and Naomi Holdsworth. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Christopher, William, James, John, Agnes and Sarah I. He died at the age of 72 in January 1782 in Boutetout Co, VA.1 -
