Abishai Marchant 
Abishai was born in 1738 in Marthas Vineyard, Dukes, MA, USA.1 Abishai's father was John Marchant and his mother was Elizabeth Daggett. His paternal grandparents were Abishai Marchant and Mary Taylor; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Daggett and Amy Eddy. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Benjamin, Benjamin, Silas, Silas, Ruth, Martha, Mary and Mary. He was the youngest of the nine children. He had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, Gamaliel, Huxford, Ebenezer, Cornelius, Elizabeth, Naomi and Thankful. He died at the age of 69 on September 9th, 1807 in Edgartown, Dukes, MA, USA.1 -
