Grace was born in 1379 in Heightesbury, Wiltshire, England.1 Grace's father was Thomas Hungerford and her mother was Joan Hussey. Her paternal grandfather was Walter Hungerford; her maternal grandfather was Edmund Hussey. She had seven brothers named Baron Walter, John, Ralph, Robert, Thomas, Rhodolph and Peter. She is the second oldest of the eight children. She had a half-sister named Margery.-
