Her paternal grandparents were Wastuspaquin Tuspaquin and Amie Narragansett Tribe; her maternal grandparents were Mooanum Wamsutta Alexander and Namumpum Weetamoe. She had a brother and five sisters, named Benjamin, Esther, Hannah, Mary, Sarah and Thankful. She is the second youngest of the seven children.-
