Silas Clotfelter 
Silas was born in 1871 in Illinois.1 Silas' father was George H. Clotfelter and his mother was Sarah J. Clotfelter. His paternal grandfather was Amos Leonard Clotfelter; his maternal grandfather was Silas H Hogsett and his maternal grandmother is Caroline Kerr. He has four brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Amos, Frederick, Harry, Nettie, Carrie and Ina. He is the fourth oldest of the eight children. He had a half-brother named Henry.-
