Poynes Brooke

Poynes was born in 1555 in Norton, Cheshire, England.¹ Poynes' father was Richard Brooke and his mother was Christian Carew. His paternal grandfather was Thomas Brooke and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Starkey. He had a brother and four sisters, named John, Prudence, Martha, Christian and Mary. He had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Thomas, Richard, Baker, Ralph, Robert, Katherine, Dorothy, Elizabeth and Barbara. He died in England.¹
