John Bates 
John was born in 1641 in Wethersfield, Hartford, CT, USA.1 John's father was Robert Bates and his mother was Margaret Weeche. His maternal grandfather is William Weeche. He had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Moses, Joseph, John, Samuel, Nathaniel, Mary, Hannah and Sarah. He died at the age of 73 on December 26th, 1714 in Stamford, Fairfield, CT, USA.1
