Nest verch was born about 1027 in Merionethshire, Wales. Nest verch's father was Tangno ap Cadfael. Her paternal grandfather was Cadfael ap Lludd. She was an only child. Nest verch is no longer alive.
‌Nest verch and Cydrych ap were married in a religious ceremony about 1040. They had two sons named Cydifor ap and Gruffudd ap.
