Scribonia's father was Marcus Drusus Libo and her mother was Cornelia Cinna. Her maternal grandparents were Lucius Cornelius Cinna and Pompeia Minor. She had a half-sister named Julia.
They had a daughter named Julia III.

Augustus is said to have divorced Scribonia the very day she gave birth to his only child, Julia because she was a nag. She was his second wife.
