William Plantagenet 
William was born about 1338. William's father was Edward III Beaufort and his mother was Philippa of Hainault. His paternal grandparents were Edward II Plantagenet of England and Isabella of France; his maternal grandparents were Willem "The Good" De Hainault and Jeanne De Crepi. He had five brothers named Edward "The Black Prince", Lionel of, Edmund of, Thomas of and John of. He was the second oldest of the six children.-
