27 March 1849: William Pepper of Vernon in the County of Oneida, NY deeded to Leslie A. Warnick and John Bryan of Utica for $830.00 the following land: In Utica: beginning at a point in the westerly line of Charlotte Street, 112 ft. from its intersection with Bleeker St; the south along Charlotte St 30 ft then west on a line at right angles from Charlotte St to the Post line so called, being about 100 ft more or less on the said right angle line; then North along post line in a line paralled with Bleecker St to the beginning place, etc.
