James I Stewart of England 
James I Stewart of was born on June 19th, 1566 in Edinburgh Castle, Scotland. James I Stewart of's father was Henry Stuart and his mother was Mary Stuart of Scots. His paternal grandparents were Matthew Stewart and Margaret Douglas; his maternal grandparents were James V Stewart of Scotland and Mary of Lorraine. He had a half-sibling of unknown gender named miscarried twins. He died at the age of 58 on March 27th, 1625 in Theobalds Park, Hertfordshire, England. James convoked the Hampton Court Conference (1604) at which he authorized a new translation of the Bible, generally called the King James Version.
