Irini Dukaina 
Irini was born in Constantinople, Byzantine Empire. Irini's father was Andronicus Ducas and her mother was Maria. Her maternal grandfather was Trojan of Bulgaria. She was an only child.
Irini and Alexius I were married in a religious ceremony about 1078. They had a son and a daughter, named Isaac and Theodora.
