William De Braose 
William was born about 1176. William's father was William III de Braose and his mother was Maud or Matilda De St. Waleric. His paternal grandparents were William De Braose and Bertha of Gloucester; his maternal grandparents were Reginald De St. Valerie and Alanora Maud de Domnart. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Giles, Reginald, Matilda, Margaret and Isobel. He was the oldest of the six children. He died in 1211.General Notes
Captured by royal forces in pursuit of his father; held to have been starved to death (together with his mother) by the order of King John.
