Caleb Church 
Caleb was born on March 4th, 1754 in According to military records. Caleb's father was Caleb Church and his mother was Lydia Larkin. His paternal grandparents were Caleb Church and Rebecca Branch; his maternal grandparents were Edward Jr. Larkin and Mary Cottrell. He had a brother named Silas. He died at the age of 88 on August 2nd, 1842. He was buried in Hornell, NY.General Notes
A Revolutionary war soldier serving in Captain John Randall's and Col. J. M. Varnum's regiment, and a year in Capt. Wm. Porter's and Col. Charles Greens's regiment. He must have gone privateering also for the was confined in the notorious ship "Jersey" being the third of the Plymouth family to languish there. He was a Lieutenant in the Fourth Rhode Island Militia. (from family records obtained from Shirley Simkin).
