Charibert's father was Lothar and his mother was Ingolde. His paternal grandparents were Clovis The Great and Clothilde of Burgundy. He had two brothers and a sister, named Sigebert, Guntram and Blithildes. He had a half-brother named Chilperice. He died in 0567.-
