Berenguela or was born about 1110 in Barcelona, Aragon, Spain. Berenguela or's father was Raymond III "The Great" Berenger and her mother was Dolca de Gevaudaun. Her paternal grandparents were Raymond II and Maude (Mathilda) of Apulia De Hauteville. She had two brothers and a sister, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Berenguer, Ramon Bernenguer El, Almodis and Bernat. She had two half-sisters named Maria and Jimena. She died in 1149.-
