Kristina+ was born about 1183. Kristina+'s father was Sverker II+ Sverkeratten and her mother is Benedikta+ Hvide. Her paternal grandfather was Karl VII+ Sverkeratten and her paternal grandmother is Kristina+ Hvide. She had two sisters named Margareta+ and Helena. She was the oldest of the three children.
