Kasimir I Von+ was born in Cieszyn, Katowice, Poland. Kasimir I Von+'s father was Casimir II+ Oppeln and his mother was Beatrice Von+ Brandenburg. His maternal grandparents were Otto V Der Lange Von+ Brandenburg and Judith Von+ Henneberg. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Bernhard Von, Bolko II Von and Euphemia Von.
