Casimir I+ was born in 1016. Casimir I+'s father was Mieszko II Lambert+ Piast and his mother was Richza De+ Bonngau. His paternal grandparents were Boleslas I+ Piast and Emmilda Des+ Wendes; his maternal grandparents were Herenfried Ezon De+ Bonngau and Mathilde Von+ Sachsen. He had two sisters named Richenza+ and Gertrude+. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 42 in 1058.General Notes
