His paternal grandparents were Richard I Of+ Normandy and Gonnor De+ Crepon; his maternal grandparents were Conan I Berenger De+ Rennes and Ermengarde+ D' Anjou. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Richard III Of+, Mauger De+, William Of, Eleonore Of+, Adeliza Judith Of+ and Margaret Helene Of+. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Mauger Of+, William Of and Papia Of+. He died on July 22nd, 1035 in Nicea, Bithynia, Turkey.General Notes
