King Didier III von Nassau of the Lombards 
Didier III was born in 0710. Didier III's father was Othon von Nassau and his mother was Himmeltrude de l'Ardennes. His paternal grandfather is Didier II von Nassau and his paternal grandmother was Drutte von Quedlimbourg; his maternal grandfather was Comte Gosselin d'Ardennes. He was an only child. Last King of the Lombards
Desiderius was the last king of the Lombards, defeated by Charlemagne and Pope Hadrian I in 773-774. Charlemagne took the Lombard crown and sent Desiderius and his family into Frankish monasteries.
