Zénon L'issurien was born in 0472. Zénon L'issurien's father was Emperor Zeno Tarasicodissa of the Eastern Roman Empire and his mother was Princess Ariadne of Byzantium. His paternal grandparents are Rusumblada of Isauria and Lallis; his maternal grandparents were Emperor Leo I ("the butcher") of the Eastern Roman Empire and Verina Flavia of the Byzantine Empire. He is an only child.
He has a biological daughter named Lucile.
