William ("Long Legs") de Douglas

William, known as "Long Legs", was born in 1200 in Hermiston, Midlothian, Scotland.  "Long Legs"'s father was Archibald de Douglas and his mother is Margaret de Crawford.  His paternal grandfather was William de Douglas and his paternal grandmother is of Moray Kersdale; his maternal grandfather was Lord John de Crawford.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 76 in 1276.

They had a son named "le Hardi".
