Maud was born about 1090 in Montgomery, England.  Maud's father is Lord Baldwin de Boulers of Montgomery and her mother is Sibyl de Falcise.  Her paternal grandfather is Stephen de Boulers; her maternal grandfather is William de Falcise.  She is an only child.

They had a daughter named Margery.
