Tashmetum-sharrat was born in 0723 BC. Tashmetum-sharrat's father is King Merodach-Baladan of Babylon. Her paternal grandparents are King Yakin of Chaldea and Princess of Babylon. She has a brother and a sister, named Nabu-shum-ishkun and of Babylon.
They had a son named Esarhaddon.
