Patrick was born about 1135 in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. Patrick's father was Sheriff Walter FitzEdward of Salisbury and his mother was Sibyl de Chaworth. His paternal grandfather was Lord Edward de Salisbury of Chittern and his paternal grandmother is Maud FitzHubert; his maternal grandfather was Patrick de Chaworth and his maternal grandmother is Maud de Hesdin. He had a sister named Harvise. He was the younger of the two children. He died about April 7th, 1168 in Battle In Piotou. He was buried in Abbey Of Saint Hilaire, Poitiers.-
