Ealdorman Athelmaer ("the Great") of Wessex

Athelmaer, known as "the Great", was born in 0950. "the Great"'s father was Ealdorman Athelweard ("the Chronicler") of Wessex and his mother is Athelflaed. His paternal grandfather is Ealdorman Athelfrith of Wessex. He was an only child. He died at the age of 66 in 1016.
