John Watts

John was born in 1745 in Orange, VA, USA.¹   John's father was Edward Watts and his mother was Elizabeth B Downs. He had two sisters named Elizabeth and Mildred.  He was the second oldest of the three children. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Thomas, Edward, William, Benjamin, Anna, Milly and Betsey.  He died at the age of 50 in 1795.¹
