Her paternal grandparents were Robert Throckmorton and Katherine Marrow; her maternal grandfather was Humphrey Beaufo and her maternal grandmother is Joanna Hugford. She had four brothers and five sisters, named John, Raphael, Simon, Anthony, Mary, Catarina, Gabriel, Jane and Margaret.-
