David Haynes was born on April 12th, 1808 in Russellville, Logan, KY, USA.1 David Haynes' father was James Sawyer and his mother was Hannah Henderson. His paternal grandparents were James I Sawyer and Hannah Haynes; his maternal grandparents were Michael Henderson and Hannah Barnett. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William J, Michael Henderson, James, Thomas D, Nancy, Hannah Barnett, Mary Parks, Margaret M. and Elizabeth M. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 72 in 1880.1 -
