08. Alice d. 27 Mar 1426. Part of the Inq.p.m. on her estates (filed und
er the name Alice Bonville) was printed in the NGSQ, vol. 60, p. 32. Howev
er, another part (filed under the name of Alice Carminow) was not publish
ed but an abstract of that part was obtained from the Devon Record Offic
e, Exeter, England. The complete Inq.p.m. shows that at her death, Alice h
eld the manor of Puckington, co. Somerset which manor she had previously h
eld jointly with her fifth husband, William Bonville. She also held some l
and and tenements in Wyle and Burgh in Dalewood, co. Dorset, which was ear
lier the gift of John Strecche and others to Alice and her husband Sir Wil
liam Bonville by deed dated 6 June 1402. Alice also held various dower rig
hts to lands owned by her 3rd husband, Sir Ralph Carminow and by her 4th h
