Bernard I was born in 1045 in Comborn, Correze, Limousin, France.1 Bernard I's father was Archambaud Le Barbu De Comborn and his mother was Rothberge De Rochechouart. His paternal grandparents were Bernard I De Comborn and Garcille De Courson; his maternal grandparents were Aymery De Rochechouart and Ermessinde De Champagnac. He had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Ademar, Archambaud V, Ebles I, Bernard I, Archambaud, Beatrix, Rothberge and Elis. He died at the age of 78 in 1123 in Cluny, Saone Et Loire, Bourgogne, France.1 -
