Sarah Ann was born in 1845 in Georgia. Sarah Ann's father is Henry S. Brabbin and her mother is Jane Goodman. Her paternal grandparents were James Brabbin and Sarah E. Sorrow. She had two brothers and three sisters, named William Jefferson, George Washington, Nicey, Jane and Martha Louiza. She is the third oldest of the six children.-
