Robert was born in April 1667 in Eastham, Barnstable, MA. Robert's father was John* young and his mother was Abigail* howland. His maternal grandparents were Henry* howland and Sarah Mary* nnewland. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named John, Joseph, Joseph, Nathanial, David, Henry, Henry, Mary*, Abigail and Lydia. He was the third youngest of the eleven children.
