George Norton was born on October 29th, 1847 in Pavilion, Genesee Co., New York.  He died at the age of 80 on June 13th, 1928 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah.  He was buried on June 17th, 1928 in Watsatch Lawn Cemetery, Salt Lake Co., Utah.
