Samuel (Capt.) Wolcott 
Samuel (Capt.) was born on April 11th, 1679. Samuel (Capt.)'s father was Samuel Wolcott and his mother was Judith Appleton. His paternal grandparents were Henry Wolcott and Sarah Newberry; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Appleton and Hannah Paine. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Gershom, Josiah, Hannah, Sarah, Lucy, Abigail, Elizabeth and Mary. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 55 on September 15th, 1734.General Notes
