Silas WOOD

Silas was born on February 9th, 1798 in <Frankfort, Herkimer, Ny>.  Silas' father was Samuel WOOD and his mother was Elizabeth STEWART.  His paternal grandparents are Jonathan Wood and Betsy Davidson. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Samuel, Jonathan, Phebe, Betsey, Lucy, Esther, Charlotte and Julia.  He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He had a half-brother named Henry.  He died at the age of 26 on January 20th, 1825.
