Martin WOOD 
Martin was born on February 24th, 1818 in Independence, Cuyohoga, Ohio. Martin's father was Henry Wood and his mother was Esther CRANMER. His paternal grandfather was Samuel WOOD and his paternal grandmother is Betsie Stewart; his maternal grandparents were Jeremiah CRANMER and Hannah COLE. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, Henry C., James Henry, Henry Jeremiah, Phebe, Maria, Charlotte, Roxie and Esther. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 46 on September 14th, 1864 in Upper Bear River Station, Evanston, Wyoming. He was buried in Dry Creek Cem., Ada County, Idaho.General Notes
