Giselbert was born about 0900.  Giselbert's father was Regnier I UNKNOWN and his mother is Alberade de Lorraine UNKNOWN. He had a brother named Rainer II. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Gilbert Gislebert, Hermentrude Adelaide and Ermentrude.  He died in Andernach, Rheinland.

They had a daughter named Adelaide.
