Thomas was born on October 8th, 1671 in Little, Compton, Newport, RI. Thomas' father was Edward THURSTON and his mother was Elizabeth MOTT. His paternal grandparents are Adam THURSTON and Mrs Adam THURSTON; his maternal grandparents were Adam MOTT and Elizabeth CREEL. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Edward, Johnathan, Daniel, John, Samuel, Sarah, Elizabeth, Eleanor(Eleanore), Mary, Rebecca and Content. He was the youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 59 on October 22nd, 1730 in Newport, Newport, Rhode Island.General Notes
