Johann Philipp Suess 
Johann Philipp was born on June 23rd, 1798 in Leun, Rheinland, Prussia. Johann Philipp's father was Philipp Heinrich Suess and his mother was Anna Elisabetha Pfau. His paternal grandparents were Johann Heinrich Suess and Catharina Margaretha Stuhl; his maternal grandparents were Johann Conrad Pfau and Anna Catharina Griebel. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Johannes, Johann Wilhelm, Wilhelm Heinrich, Catharina Margaretha, Catharina Friederica, Elisabethe Margarethe, Anna Elisabetha, Elisabethe Catharine, Christine and Susanne Philippine. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 39 on November 13th, 1837 in Leun.-
